Tamara is a candidate who participates in a cultural exchange with Spain. She decided to spend this summer in Barcelona, learning something about the new culture and language. She started the adventure less than a month ago, and below you can briefly read her experience so far.
“When I landed at the airport in Barcelona, I was greeted by the mother of the family in which I will be accommodated for the next 2 months. She told me that the children had fallen asleep, because I landed at 23:00, but that a surprise was waiting for me at home. An hour of driving to home passed in a pleasant conversation with Ana, we briefly shared some details about my responsibilities and soon arrived home. Across the wall, I was greeted by a huge poster on which the girls wrote “bienvenida Tamara”! 
Seven days after that, I already feel like a part of the family. I have a great relationship with my parents, children, and even with the neighbours who prepared a welcome paella for me. I hope that our relationship will get better and closer every day… the time is ahead of us. ”
We hope that Tamara’s relationship with her family will become stronger every day and that a long-term friendship will grow from her visit to them.
