After University graduation, Jelena decided to visit and explore a country that always attracted her, but she had never had a chance to stay there for a longer period of time. Jelena first applied and provided all the necessary documents, and after that she went to Spain.

I have known for the exchange program for a long time and I have read other people’s impressions and experiences which led me to apply for the exchange. It’s definitely one of the best decisions of my life. I am currently living in Spain and I can’t believe I have only one more month to spend here, it seems to me as if I came here yesterday. It’s love at first sight, you will be so enchanted with this country: the language, the culture, people and all the energy they radiate is really hard to explain, you have to experience it.
My hosting family is wonderful, they accepted me like they know me all of my life and I instantly felt like a family member, which is, in the end, the main idea of this program, to fit in the new environment. I was babysitting three boys (14, 12 and 5 years old) and since they already speak English very well (the youngest not at the same level, but he understands pretty much everything), it made everything easier for me. Kids are always going to be kids, they can be naughty, but you just need to understand them and everything will be fine. The family is, of course, always available to help you. I spend all of my free time on travelling, I have met a lot of girls and we organize our activities together, all in all – it’s never boring. For me, this is an excellent experience and I truly recommend both the agency and this program.
