“When I arrived to Spain, I couldn’t believe I was finally here! I fantasized about how I would see everything I had read about for so many years and could only see in the pictures .. There was no need to fantasize anymore- I was there! 
The children fell in love with me and on weekends they often waited for me at the door to come from the city. I quickly met their extended family and we stayed in touch. These months have flown by – I was walking, enjoying the Madrid sun, the hospitality of the people of Madrid, but what I will remember the most are the friends I made there, they are really lifelong friends. “- says Nikolina.
