Sladjana’s strong desire was to visit Spain and spend as much time there as possible. Through the cultural exchange program with this country, her wish came true.
“Coming to Spain is, candidly, the best decision I’ve made so far. I plucked up the courage, stepped out of my comfort zone, and thanks to my perseverance and, of course, my coordinator, I managed to go to this beautiful country. I’ve visited Spain before, but now I had the opportunity to explore the south of Spain with my family (Marbella, Malaga, Granada, Seville and Nerja), and spend the other two months in Madrid.
I even felt relaxed enough to speak Spanish and decided to enroll for a master’s degree in this country. The beautiful, exotic landscapes of Spain, their culture and customs, the large number of sunny days… it all affected me in the best way possible. I met new friends, gained a new family, got to know their way of living, and at no point did I feel like a tourist. I was living my Spanish dream and learning something new every day. Of course, there were difficult days when you wished you were home, but I’m definitely coming back because I’ve left so much unexplored. All in all, this has been a beautiful experience for me and I can’t wait to head to this beautiful country again.”
