Stefana, a participant in the cultural exchange program, calls us from Spain.
Below we share her impressions: “When I decided to apply for the cultural exchange program, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. It was more out of curiosity and a desire to try something new. However, now that this journey of mine is almost over, I have realized that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The experience I gained is irreplaceable.
I was given the opportunity to experience life in a completely different environment, with another family, speaking another language and celebrating their holidays. I toured almost the entire Basque Country (both Spanish and French) and made wonderful friendships. I will remember the time spent with my family forever, precisely because they accepted me as a family member, I felt at home, I was free to tell them everything and ask them anything. I always found understanding and in the end we always came to a compromise. This experience has completely enriched me and I will definitely remember it for the rest of my life. “
